Flavorfusion

OVERVIEW

FlavorFusion is supposed to be a revolutionary recipe app, designed to make cooking at home easier and better by providing a vast collection recipes, personalized recommendations and convenient grocery lists. My goal was to create a landing page for it that could communicate the project’s value proposition, encourage user engagement and drive downloads. I worked on FlavorFusion as a fast-paced, three-days, project in my intensive UX/UI program at Spiced Academy. This project contained no research, and focused rather on the UX/UI side.

As a first step, I opened excalidraw, to figure out where I would need to place most elements and sketch lo-fi wireframes. Here on the right there’s the first section of the landing page, as an example.

Takeaways

This UX/UI design project tested my patience and my ability to manage my stress, as it was a good amount of work to complete in just three days. I’m, however, very satisfied by the result. An lesson I learned was to have a clear vision from the start and to pick the right inspiration when working on a project with little time available.

I want to express gratitude to my coaches Vieri Fidanza, and Camila Jatahy for their support and help during the completion of this project.
